Thanks for the comment Vera, it’s not as hard as you’d imagine. Apple make it relatively easy with their GarageBand application.

I’ll always cherish the written word over the spoken; which is one of the main reasons the podcasts will usually be built around my own written articles.

OK – follow up, just to clear this up. I’ve removed The Wombats awesome track ‘Moving to New York’ as Darcy was quite right, I didn’t have permission, and until I get that I’ll respect them as artists.

Because, hey, if someone rips off my work without the decency of asking I wouldn’t be best pleased and I’d probably roll them in a lawsuit.

So… sorry. A silly oversight on my part: I was moving to New York cos I’ve got problems with my sleep. But now I’m not.

Brilliant comment Darcy, with some very valid points — especially on the subject of copyright, I hadn’t really considered that at the time! Um, I guess it’s free advertising for them, right?

I’m still finding my feet with podcasting, and have thoroughly enjoyed the afternoons I’ve devoted to each of them. It’s a great media, and really helps me assess the visual aspects of my writing.

First of all, I’d like to say I thoroughly enjoyed that! It’s like listening to an audiobook of your jounrney. I would love to see your podcast on iTunes, but you might want to consider copyright and what The Wombats would think of your liberal use of their music…haha.
